  • Overview

    Our CodeSonar product is well regarded for its top of the class ability to find interesting bugs in complex software systems. It is used widely throughout the world, chiefly by organizations that are developing safety-critical embedded systems.


    This position is to help those who wish to install, deploy, use, and extend CodeSonar be successful. This involves working directly with customers domestically, and through several overseas distributors for our foreign users. We expect the successful candidate to take pride in helping people through complex technical issues.


    • Communicating directly with customers domestically, as well as internationally, through GrammaTech’s distributors
    • Handling incoming technical support questions and seeing them through to a satisfactory resolution
    • Understanding customer source code in C and C++ and explaining complex coding errors to customers
    • Helping sales engineers with installation and configuration issues
    • Working closely with other members of the product team on escalations



    • BS in Computer Science, or a similar technical first degree
    • One year of experience in a technical support environment

    Required Skills:

    • Experience with software development under Linux and 
    • Windows operating systems
    • Experience with C, C++ and Python including familiarity with common source code defects
    • Skilled at troubleshooting software build problems

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with reading x86, x64 or ARM assembly code
